ANXIETY ISSUES

Anxiety can be debilitating.  You need to do something, but you are so anxious that you can't.  People make you nervous, performing makes you nervous, or maybe it's just the whole world that's making you nervous.

 

Being anxious can be mean the difference between getting the job or not, between asking someone out or not, between going after what you want in life, or not.

 

A certain level of anxiety is OK.  It's called being revved up.  It enables your brain to be more tightly focused and alert with respect to what you are doing in the moment.  This is good for us and elevates our performance during important moments in our lives.  But anxiety can also be a detriment if it causes your performance to decline.
