STRESS MANAGEMENT

Your boss is breathing down your neck about that TPS report.  Your spouse wants you to vacuum the pet's vomit out of the carpet before your in-laws arrive, and they are driving in your neighborhood now!  The IRS just sent you a letter that says you owe them a bajillion dollars!  And you don't have a bajillion dollars!

 

Stress stinks.  Let's face it.

 

How can we make it stink less?

 

There are a variety of ways that you can deal with stress, and a good counselor will be able to help you to manage your stress.

 

Managing stress involves staying relaxed and confident in the face of adversity.  You've gotta know how to win, and once you string together a few wins, your stress level will go down.

 

Say you can't string together some wins?  Say, no matter what you try, there always seems to be something else coming up which stresses you out.

 

That can be managed as well through a variety of stress management techniques and organizational skills.

 

Stress can also be exacerbated by other types of psychological issues like depression or anxiety.  We can help with those as well.
